Pick up in the morning at your accommodation head to a small fishing village on the north called Porto Ribeira da Barca. From there the hike starts, it takes around 3h hike to the waterfall called Cascata de Água Caída, it has a panoramic view, green valley because of the waterfall all year round, it is a paradisiacal place with different types of fruit plants such as mango, papaya, banana, etc, so it´s a perfect place for hiking lovers and for those who wants to be in contact with the nature.
