Fun & karts offers 3 hour guided kart excursions around the Island of Sal. These comfortable vehicles are great fun and easy to drive, perfectly suited to the rugged Island terrain.
The adventure begins in the tourist village of Santa Maria before exploring the less travelled east coast of Sal where you can marvel at the kitesurfers as they ride the waves of shark beach, take in the sensational views of Serra Negra. You then cross the island and visit Mont Leon and the pretty tourist village of Murderia, with its protected bay, before heading back down the west coast, where you pass through the beaches of Calheta Funda and Algodoeiro. There is also a chance to check out the beautiful beach and legendary surfing spot of Ponta Preta as you head back towards Santa Maria.
There are 2 scheduled excursions each day, one in the morning at 9 am and one in the afternoon. at 2.30 pm. Each kart fits 2 people and a driving licence is required. Bespoke trips are also available, for more details and to book your excursion, please email.
