Caboquad has been operational since 2003 and the Sal Island Quad tours are one of Cape Verde's most popular excursions. We provide multi-lingual qualified instructors, who will provide you with a full safety briefing and the benefit of their unique Island experiences.
All vehicles are maintained to a European standard and all business licences are in place. It's essential to bring your driving licence to participate in the excursion.

2 Hour Quad Trip
Departing from Santa Maria, we follow the east coast towards Kite Beach, where you can see the Kitesurfers in action. We then continue to Serra Negra to enjoy the spectacular views across Santa Maria. We then cross over the west coast of the Island towards Murdeira Bay and follow the west coast back down towards Calheta Funda and then on to Ponta Preta before returning back to Santa Maria. 4 Hour Quad Trip
The 4 hour whole Sal Island experience also includes the amazing Pedra de Lume (salt mine) and the mirage at Terra Boa before visiting the natural lagoon and Blue Eye at Burracona. The trip then continues on to the fishing port of Palmeria and then down the west coast, past Mount Leon, until we reach Murdeira Bay. The tour then proceeds back down to Santa Maria via Calheta Funda and Ponta Preta. (See excursion and price list)
