Description

On this full-day tour, we'll discover the most beautiful places on the island of São Vicente, drive to the highest mountain, Monte Verde, make a short detour to the venue of the largest music festival in Cabo Verde, Baía das Gatas, and have lunch at a beautiful beach restaurant in the fishing village of Salamansa. Then we'll head to Norte de Baía, where we'll admire the results of a graffiti festival. We'll take the scenic road along the northwest coast, stopping at one of the sand dunes blown in from the Sahara before heading to Calhau. After a stop at the studio of an artist who produces jewelry from the uninhabited island of Santa Luzia, we'll drive through the fertile, green valley in the middle of the island back to Mindelo. There, we'll check out the coolest sights and, after 2 hours, we'll hit the café at the CNAD Art Museum, where a musician will be waiting to wow us with all 6 rhythms of Cabo Verde. After 8 hours, we'll reach the city beach of Laginha, where you can enjoy the sunset.
