• Most of our travel will be by vehicle, though we will do some walking in the city, wear your bathing suit and towel for a swim at Baia das Gatas Beach, if desired (there is no place to change your clothing). Wear comfortable clothing, shoes, and sun protection. Be advised that we will travel up to the summit of Monte Verde with high altitude. We will make a stop for lunch, the restaurant accepts euros and escudos (local currency), no credit cards. Please inform of any dietary restrictions or allergies. *On Sundays the markets and cultural center are closed, on these days, we will pass by to learn more about lifestyle on the Island
