The historical center of Mindelo city is the cultural heart of Cape Verde. The colorful houses, colonial buildings, the bustling city life and the cozy harbor provide the lively atmosphere. Discover the fish, fruit- and veggies market, the African square 'Praca Estrela', the pink people's palace, the townhall, the Torre de Belem replica, and much more. The most famous singer of the island, Cesaria Evora is a real icon of Sao Vicente and her museum is not to be missed during the city tour.
