Description
The tour kicks off with a stunning panoramic view of Ponta Pesqueira, and then we'll head to an abandoned village of ruins (Cural Velho). Then we'll head to the salt mine, where you'll get a free souvenir made of salt stones. Along the coast to João Barbosa Beach, you can enjoy the unique nature and landscape. Then we'll head to the Tree of Life (Baobab).
Then it's time to cool off
Ervatão Beach is a natural turtle reserve with crystal clear water where you can swim and relax.
Later, we'll visit the largest lighthouse on the island, 'Morro Negro'
The walk up takes about 12 minutes, and you'll be rewarded with a unique view over the east coast.
Then we'll visit the beautiful village with colorful flowers and small houses, and we'll stop here for a typical local lunch at Fundo das Figueiras.
The birthplace of Arrestides Perreira, the first president of Cape Verde. Then we'll drive on the highway on Route 66 to the Viana Desert, a sand desert in the northwestern part of the island of Boa Vista where we can go sandboarding.
Then we'll head back to the hotel.
