This tour offers a full-day adventure on Sal Island, combining wildlife observation, cultural immersion, and natural wonders. It is suitable for those interested in marine life, local culture, and geology.
You will be picked up from your accommodation and transferred to Espargos. There, you will have the opportunity to enjoy authentic Cape Verdean cuisine with a local family.
Next, visit Shark Bay, known for its lemon sharks that are harmless to humans. Equip yourself with water shoes, enter the ocean, and observe these sharks closely in their natural habitat.
The tour then continues to Pedra de Lume, located in a salt pan below sea level inside an extinct volcano crater. Walk through the cave to reach the lagoons where salt is harvested. You can float easily in this highly saline water, a unique natural experience.
The tour concludes with a drop-off at your accommodation.
