You will be picked up outside the main entrance of your accommodation. The tour includes visits to the following locations:

  • Varandinha Beach and Sand Cave: A peaceful beach on the island’s southwest, divided by rocks into smaller sandy areas.
  • Santa Monica Beach: An 18-mile long, largely deserted white sand beach ideal for barefoot walks and relaxation. Seasonal sightings of young sea turtles and sharks may occur.
  • Viana Desert: Expansive white sand dunes with oases featuring acacia bushes, palm trees, and date palms. This desert is an extension of the Sahara desert located on the island.
  • MS Cabo Santa Maria Shipwreck: A rusting cargo shipwreck off Praia de Atlanta beach, visible for over 50 years and a notable local landmark.
  • Sal Rei Town: Visit the town and take time to swim or relax on the main beach.
