Description
Begin your adventure in Santa Maria at the designated meeting point. After a safety briefing, your local guide will provide all necessary gear and take you to the best snorkeling location of the day, considering weather, tides, and sea conditions. Popular sites include Farol Reef and the sunken Bolama shipwreck.
Experience water visibility up to 30 meters as you explore vibrant coral gardens, swim alongside tropical fish, rays, and possibly turtles or moray eels. Eco-friendly practices are followed, such as limiting group size and avoiding fins unless requested, to protect the marine ecosystem.
This activity offers more than just snorkeling; it provides insight into Cape Verde’s ocean connection and conservation efforts. The total duration ranges from 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours, including briefing, gearing up, and about 1 hour snorkeling. Meeting details will be provided in advance.
No prior experience is required. Life vests and fins are available on request. Optional GoPro rentals and professional photography services can capture your experience. The tour concludes with memorable moments and a safe return.
