Tour Description
The tour begins with hotel pickup in Santa Maria and transfer to the local office for check-in and gear fitting. Drivers must present a valid driver’s license to participate. After boarding the 4x4, the journey starts through the salt flats surrounded by sand dunes.
Drive past Kite Beach, then continue to Serra Negra, where a viewpoint offers panoramic views of Sal’s southern coast and Boavista Island when weather permits. The route continues across desert terrain before stopping at Palha Verde Oasis. The tour concludes with time at Ponta Preta Beach, considered one of the island’s top beaches, before returning to the office and Santa Maria hotels.
