Description
We leave the hotel in the morning and drive towards the interior of the island to Santa Tirso, where a small green oasis awaits us. Next, we continue to the baobab tree and the quassia tree with a tasting of baobab powder, coffee, and Indian almonds.
Continue on to Curall Velho to explore a former fishing village with a natural salt pan. We'll travel along the coast to Joao Barrosa, with spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean. Now we have earned a swimming stop, which is at Ervatao Beach. Here there is also the possibility of finding one of the beautiful scallops. Continue to the east of the island to the Monte Negro lighthouse, where a short walk awaits. What awaits us is breathtaking. Our lunch is now waiting for us in a local restaurant in Fundo das Figueras. After lunch, we still have time for a short walking tour in the village.
Now it's time to head towards the hotel. We drive towards Bofareira, where the landscape once again shows us its versatility. A short visit to the Santos Farm with a tasting of goat cheese.
