Description
Venture into Cova Natural Park and hike along the trail of an extinct volcano at 1,100 metres altitude. The path zig-zags through rich vegetation emerging from the crater, offering ocean views along the way. Pause at the rim to see Paúl Valley’s green plantations and spot the ocean 10 kilometres away.
The trail continues through sugar cane, banana, mango, avocado, and coconut plantations. Visit a traditional rum distillery to learn about local production and taste the popular Grogue before returning.
