Description
The tour begins with a hotel pickup in Praia and transport to the island’s western region. Along the way, stop for photos in Assomada town.
Reach Ribeira da Barca Village and board a traditional fishing boat for a 30-minute trip across the bay. Observe the volcanic rock formations that reflect the island’s geological past. Next, visit Pilon de Achada Leite, noted for unique rocks surrounded by small crabs.
Continue to Águas Belas, where conditions allow you to swim and snorkel inside coastal caves to discover the rich marine environment. Meanwhile, a seaside barbecue is prepared for you on the black-sand beach.
After lunch, return to Ribeira da Barca for transportation back to your hotel in Praia.
