Boa Vista is a key area for humpback whales, which migrate here between March and May to mate and give birth. This tour allows you to observe these whales, typically around 15 meters long, in their natural environment.
At the start of the whale season, sightings may require more time and may be farther from the coast or to the south. The 'Early Season Trip' is scheduled accordingly to increase the chances of spotting whales early in the season.
The tour begins with hotel pickup and transfer to Sal Rei port. Guests board a yacht via dinghy and meet the experienced crew, who provide a detailed briefing about humpback whales. A marine biologist accompanies the tour to share expert knowledge.
The search for whales includes watching their natural behaviors such as swimming and breaching. After approximately 5 hours at sea, you return to Sal Rei port and are driven back to your hotel.
Since this is a natural wildlife experience, sightings cannot be guaranteed on every trip.
