Moumi Gallery is located in the chic Bazamore Residence adjacent to the front entrance of the Morabeza hotel in Santa Maria, Sal.
As you enter the shop, you will notice the aroma, the delicate perfume mixed with the smell of wood and leather. The space opens up to display an abundance of African arts and handicrafts. The owner Berny is passionate about African art and culture and you will find the interior spotlessy clean and beautifully decorated.
It's well worth taking the opportunity and time to explore the numerous handicrafts on display showcasing traditional African craftsmenship. Here you will find many unique and collectable items, including furniture, tribal masks, jewellery, leather goods and a wonderful array of fabrics. Material's which have been used include exotic woods, stone, Bronze and Silver amongst many others.
Moumi gallery is a little museum of African art, a wonderful place to find that special gift or souvenir.
