Don't be put off by the outside. Local council have the road dug up. What a fantastic meal. Sean the chef comes and talks to you about the menu and his story of how he came to santa Maria. Our waiter was attentive and a all round nice guy and looked after us all the time we were here. We had the surf and turf sharing platter and it was the best meal I have has in a while The steak was cooked perfectly and the prawns where delicious. Can't recommend this restaurant enough. Great job guys keep it up.
Great food cooked brilliantly. loves the chicken wings. Best steak I’ve had in a while, cooked so well over a charcoal grill. Clayton was fantastic & a real asset to the place. Lovely cocktails too
We visited here last night and everything was just perfect! We were greeted by friendly and polite staff, our server, Clayton was amazing and so attentive, the cocktails were so good, the food was unreal!! The chef came out to chat to everyone which was a really nice touch and the restaurant is so cozy and with a lovely atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back!!
I came here the first time with my girlfriend this week and it was amazing we ordered the mix grill and rack of lamb both cooked to perfection. The chefs personal service was excellent coming up to greet the customers and the general manager was bubbly and amazing. The second visit this week ended up with me and my girlfriend having food poisoning from uncooked chicken. Extremely disappointed with whoever made the food yesterday. The chef and general manager were great in not charging us for the bill and extremely apologetic, however uncooked chicken is never acceptable as it is the one meat you cannot afford to eat raw.
A wonderful surprise in Santa Maria, Sal Island, Cape Verde. We were welcomed and served in the best possible way. Chef Sean was incredibly kind and attentive, and for the first time in his restaurant, he prepared a vegan menu especially for us. The entire team was also extremely attentive and professional. The food was amazing—beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it. If you’re vegan, be sure to inform them in advance (preferably the day before). The space is very cozy, creating a truly fantastic experience.
