You can feel the love that has been put into this hotel to give their customers an unforgettable experience. It is a shame I haven't been there sooner.

Wow, what a location. Go there for that alone. The staff were friendly and polite and give you breathing space and there's someone there happy to help when you ask. The food in the restaurant was very good, hats of the the kitchen staff. Breakfast was a bit lacking. There was generally enough and I don't expect a big choice in a small hotel. That said, there was less and less each morning we were there (4 nights) which I found disappointing. The policy of maximum 2 cups of coffee and having to pay for boiled or scrambled eggs is rather an insult to the class they want to exude with their hotel. The room was very nice. It was very clean as was the rest of the hotel. The layout was rather odd, there were 3 comfy chairs but nowhere a couple could sit together. There was a television but you'd have to stand up to watch it. We should conserve water, I have no problem with that, but then don't put a bath in the room. They warned that water could cut out briefly and would be fixed quickly, turned out to be correct and with a minimum of patience solved. That's no problem given the setting and location.

Pros: - Beautiful hotel - Kind staff Cons: - The wi-fi kept failing (even after being there for 3 full days) - The food was not good (ordered chicken and it was raw) - The room we were at didn't have full glass to cover the shower (making the floor wet) - Even after putting the "Please Clean My Room" sign, the room was not cleaned - In booking.com it says that there was a spa, but there is just vibrating chairs (that I had to turn on myself, they were unplugged) - Also in booking.com it advertises an interior swimming pool. That is false, the swimming pool is IN the hotel but it is outdoors and we didn't use it due to the cold weather
