This place is a gem. Food is amazing, they have running water and even filtered water on tap : a luxury considering it's location. Fantastic view and departure points for many hikes ( few are quite tough like the crater one). Breakfast is your choice of eggs or cachupa, fresh fruits with yogurt and homemade cake. Dinner is generous with appetizer, starter and main. We had great banana crackers, cachupa soup, chicken and veggies the first night, fish croquettes, sweet potato soup and veggie quiche the second night. They also have the local beer : Stela. Refreshing after a hike :).

This place is fantastic — the location and views are absolutely outstanding. The local food they serve each day is delicious and healthy. The rooms aren’t quite what you’d expect from a high-standard hotel (you’ll see what I mean once you’re there), but the scenery and the quality and quantity of the food more than make up for it. The staff were very kind and supportive throughout our stay. One important note: make sure to check the difficulty level of the hikes before starting. We did a “High” one to the crater and slightly regretted it 😅. Other than that, waking up there with those views is truly unforgettable.
