Lovely friendly staff, great place to chill, away from hotel.
We ate here last night, we love hearty home cooked English meals. absolutely delicious!! We both shared the cheese garlic bread, the best we have ever tasted. My partner had chicken curry, rice and naan bread which was amazing & I had chicken and mushroom pie, chips, peas and gravy. The chips are proper homemade chips. Very reasonable priced, cost us around £40 for our meal and 3 drinks. Would definitely recommend if you are missing a home cooked meal.
We visited on 9th June 2026 with our disabled daughter. The venue itself is wheelchair accessible; however, the toilets are not large enough to accommodate a wheelchair or mobility scooter, meaning users must be able to walk a few steps. This was the only accessibility concern we encountered. The food was outstanding. My daughter, something of a garlic bread connoisseur, declared: “This is the best garlic bread with cheese I’ve ever had.” A bold statement that set the tone for the rest of the meal. I enjoyed the bang bang hot chicken with special fried rice and chips, my wife had the beef sizzler (which I happily sampled too), and my daughter chose pie and chips. Each dish was excellent, and the overall quality of food and drink exceeded our expectations. To round off the evening, we joined the quiz night, which was lively, interactive, and brought all customers together. It was great fun and added to the atmosphere. This is a brilliant venue—one we walked past last year on our way to Santa Maria, but we certainly won’t pass by again without stopping. Thank you for a truly memorable experience.
Watched the Liverpool match Vs Manchester City with a lively crowd. Since it was Sunday I had the Sunday brunch special which was authentic and delicious!
