I heard the music coming out of the rooftop…i came up…and BOOm! such a magical atmosphere and specially as a person who travels alone everyone was super friendly and open, drinks are great but what makes it amazing is the people there, the workers and the customers! I wish I had discovered Josys bar from my first night in Sal 😍😍
Amazing karaoke bar. We had such a blast and there are really good singers. We didn't dare to sing ourselves (we wanted to spare the island of days of rain) but they had no problem with that. The cocktails are really good too, service is enjoyable. I highly recommend!
I recommend! It's easy to miss. It is at the quiet end of town and is accessed by stairs, which lead to the rooftop terrace. There are some clues and branding, but you don't know what you're getting until you climb the stairs. There is a very relaxed vibe here. It has an expat feel, as most people seem to know each other. It doesn't feel touristy, but you do feel welcome. The drinks are well priced and cocktails were the most popular choice, but there were loads of spirits to choose from, plus the usual bar drinks. The barman was telepathic and appeared when you finished your drink! We really liked it. A real change from the chaos and noise at the other end of town. The music is good here too!

Went for happy hour and was told beer, wine and cocktails on happy hour ordered drinks and then another round lovely tray of snacks brought out (that we didn’t ask for), had a very pleasant afternoon until we asked for the bill. Prices changed from what was on menu told it was 5000cve when in actuall fact it was meant to be 4200cve ended up paying 4500cve as couldn’t be bothered arguing the fact with them anymore. Disappointed that the owner just stood and watched the waiter struggle to understand us and could have came over and sorted it out very quickly, not the way to run a business in my opinion! Unfortunately we won’t be going back as don’t appreciate being ripped off!
