From São Vicente to the Highlights of Santo Antão – Magic Island Sea crossing The adventure kicks off early with the thrilling **ferry crossing** between São Vicente and Santo Antão islands. For about an hour, you'll get to soak in the deep blue of the Atlantic and the amazing views of the two islands moving in and out of the horizon. ⛰️ Arrival in Porto Novo – First Impressions When you land in **Porto Novo**, you'll instantly feel the difference between São Vicente and Santo Antão: an island with **towering mountains**, lush nature, and traditions that are a big part of everyday life. Estrada da Corda – A Work of Art in the Mountains The climb up the famous **Estrada da Corda** is one of the highlights of the tour. It's a historic road that winds through the mountains, offering breathtaking views of deep valleys, green ridges, and picturesque villages. We make strategic stops for panoramic photos. The cool climate of the mountains contrasts with the heat of the coast, making for a unique experience. Vale do Paúl – The Green Heart of Santo Antão As you continue your journey, you'll reach the legendary **Vale do Paúl**, known as the most fertile and beautiful valley in Cape Verde. Visitors will see **tropical landscapes**, sugarcane plantations, coffee, bananas, papayas, and other tropical fruits. * Light walks let you connect with nature and local farmers. Return trip to São Vicente The journey wraps up with the ferry ride back to São Vicente, taking with you vivid memories of the landscapes, flavors, and culture of Santo Antão – the real **Magic Island**.
