Thank you Sonia and Amaury and all the team for making us so welcome to your fabulous hotel. We stayed in Preludio - just the two of us, so we had lots of room! We were there the week before festival, which is perhaps a bit mad but they were the dates which worked out for us. The room is comfortable and the facilities absolutely fine – don’t expect a five star hotel, but everything worked, the room was fine and the view from the balcony absolutely outstanding. Breakfast was entirely satisfactory and there was advice on hand about things to do if advice needed. English, French, Portuguese and CV Creole all spoken - no worries being understood. We were advised to use a taxi to get back to the hotel after dark, but in fact we always walked back up. Of course objective risk and perception of risk may be very different, but we felt safer walking through Mindelo than we would walking through Plymouth (UK) town centre at night. In summary: this is a great place to stay. Fully recommended.
We absolutely loved our stay here. The comfiest beds, the cutest decorations, the kindest staff, and the riches breakfast we have had in Cap Verde. Loved the view, and the owner was so eager to help it was really touching. Recommend with families 10/10.
We had a wonderful stay and truly felt at home. The owner and staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, and they went out of their way to share helpful information and tips for visits and excursions. The room was very clean, and the breakfast was excellent. Overall, it’s the best value-for-money we’ve had—highly recommended.
