Quinta da Montanha in Rui Vaz, Santiago Island is awesome. Excellent service, excellent staff, awesome food and the owner Mr Lindorfo apart of being a great friend is an excellent person. The views are beautifull and there's a lot to explore. Thank you very much for having me everytime I'm in the Island.
Beautiful setting and views. We came here in winter. No heating anywhere. Room clean but very cold. Restaurant cold. Food in restaurant looked good, but was served cold (should have be hot). No tea or coffee in the room so not able to even make a hot drink.
Quinta da Montanha is a truly wonderful place on the island of Santiago. The surroundings are beautiful — perfect for hiking and exploring nature. The staff are friendly & helpful, and the food is delicious. We were welcomed with great warmth and hospitality. On our first evening, we shared an unforgettable night with the owner, Lindorfo. Together with some other guests from Spain & Swiss we enjoyed a bottle of local rum (grogue), while Lindorfo played the guitar — a magical experience that we’ll never forget. Thank you for such a memorable stay!
