I had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Praiamar. The entire team is outstanding always friendly, professional, and genuinely attentive to every guest’s needs. The hotel is very comfortable, the facilities are pleasant, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. A special mention goes to the nanny, who is simply wonderful: caring, kind, and highly professional. Everyone goes above and beyond to make guests feel special and well looked after. Thank you to the entire team for your kindness and dedication. I highly recommend this hotel and would be delighted to stay here again! Thank you Anilda, Airton, Lura And Rosana!
The staff was very nice, they had a large pool, nice breakfast, bar with beachview. The room service is very slow and not properly developped. The room telephone wasn’t working. I left my luggage with them for a few days and when I got it back it was infested with ants (i didn’t have any food in my bag). I had to easy some clothes urgently in their laundry because of the poison we sprayed and they charged me for that laundry which they shouldn’t have. A big issue I had, as I went for business is that the wifi was extremely unstable and in some rooms it didn’t work (I stayed in 4 different rooms in total in the 1+ month I stayed there). I even had to go work at the reception and take meetings there with all the noise and lack of privacy. Overall for Cape Verde standards it’s a nice hotel but for international standards it’s not a 4 stars hotel, it’s maybe a 3
The staff are lovely, the hotel is well placed for Praia and sightseeing. We stayed in a beautiful room overlooking the sea! The pool is great for swimming and there are two beaches adjacent to the hotel. The breakfast is excellent and abundant. There is a choice of eating areas overlooking the pool or sea. Overall, it’s a very peaceful and relaxed place to stay on the island.
Excellent stay overall. I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were friendly, and one of them named Rosana is professional, and always willing to help. The location is convenient and makes it easy to get around. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. I would be happy to stay here again in the future
