Excellent Stay in Santo Antão! Prime Location: The hotel is perfectly situated just 2 minutes from the central square and the bus station. There are plenty of great local restaurants nearby. Fantastic Host: Doris is always around and ready to help. She is a polyglot, speaking at least English, Portuguese, and Spanish fluently. She gave us so many helpful recommendations throughout our stay. Customized Breakfast: They serve a traditional Cape Verdean breakfast, but Doris was very eager to adapt the menu for guests with special needs, such as our kid. Cleaning is done with big responsability.
Miranda & Miranda in Ponta do Sol was a fantastic place to stay and made our time on Santo Antão even better. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, the breakfast was amazing, and the location was great. A special thank-you to Dóris, who organized a taxi for an excursion for us - everything was smooth and hassle-free. When there was a temporary issue with the water (something that can happen even in higher-end hotels in the city), the team reacted quickly and found a solution right away. Highly recommended, and we’d happily stay there again.
