Reviews
We stayed for one night at cote de france and it was beautifull. Everyone working there is really kind! And the food was amazing. They also have a small area where kids can play with some toys which our kids loved 😅 I definetly would recommend this place!
We stayed here for three days as a family of four (two kids) and felt incredibly welcome. The staff greeted us warmly and were friendly throughout our stay. The rooms were clean, well-kept, and cozy. We had booked breakfast and three-course dinners — and the food was simply outstanding. Whether it was coffee or cachupa, mango lemonade or fish, every meal was the highlight of our day. The host's social commitment also deserves a special mention — it's truly inspiring how much heart she puts into supporting the education of children in the surrounding area. The location just before the mountains of Serra Malagueta was fantastic. We were able to hike straight from the accommodation to the oldest tree in Cape Verde, and there's also a lovely short walk right behind the house. The impressive market in Assomada is nearby as well. The team also gave us plenty of helpful tips for hikes and excursions. All in all, a highly recommended place to stay!
Spent three nights here and thoroughly enjoyed the warm and genuine hospitality, great food (half board recommended!) and superb location to explore the center of Santiago. If you want to spend your holiday in a five star resort, stay in Sal - but if you want to experience the real Cabo Verde, come stay in Cote de France.
We spent one night here and absolutely loved it. We were especially blown away by the food! We didn't book dinner in advance but they were still able to prepare us a meal, serving us a the best cachupa we've had in Cabo Verde since we arrived. The home made vanilla ice-cream for dessert was delicious and the same can be said about the breakfast which included a homemade coconut jam (we'll definitely be trying to get hold of a recipe for that!). Thank you so much to all the staff for making us feel so welcomed and taking so much pride in your work!
